Xbox 360 HD question?
Hey I think it might be something wrong with my HD on my xbox 360, so I wanted to clear the catch / format. When I do, and my recovery My profile player and such, I still have the maps downloaded / i content purchased gaming market? or they are gone and I can only re-download for free from now I did in that regard? if not copy my stuff I downloaded to my computer or a memory unit or something or is that not necessary? Thanks
The format and information exchange cache are two different things. If you format the drive, completely cleaned and put back to factory settings. If you clear the cache, which eliminates only updates we have built. You will be able to re-download the map packs you bought again for free either way, but you do not save recovered to recover your gamertag. You will have to go back to a memory card if you plan on formatting the drive.
